Chiropractic Bodywork

A holistic approach to assist the body in maintaining maximum state of health by using gentle manipulations in order to balance the skeletal, nervous, muscular, and organ systems. Addresses many issues such as headaches, back and neck pain, as well as digestive disorders.

Craniosacral Therapy

Improves the functioning of the central nervous system, brain, and spinal cord by using light, noninvasive touch. For neck and back problems, TMJ dysfunction, reduction of stress, deep muscular relaxation, support of the immune system, and improvement of nerve system function.

Clinical Deep Tissue Massage

Works through tension layer by layer, reaching the deeper muscles where chronic pain may be released. CDT targets specific areas of concern to alleviate symptoms of nerve impingement, muscle tears and sprains, and chronic muscular discomfort.

Deep Work Massage

Using deep pressure when and where it is needed, this type of Swedish Massage will soften muscles, soothe nerves, and release stress. Designed to loosen and facilitate freedom of movement.

The Feldenkrais Method®

Incorporates an engineering knowledge of physical movement principles, a martial arts understanding of force and energy, and a great sensitivity to the functional interrelationship of movement and feeling states. Creates a more natural and efficient movement pattern in the body.

Lymphatic Drainage Massage

A connective tissue Massage technique which accelerates the movement of lymphatic fluid and decongests all the lymphatic pathways. Enhances immune system function and toxin removal, reduces edema, increases tissue metabolism, reduces pain, and induces deep relaxation.

Myofascial Release

A mild, gentle form of hands-on stretching that evaluates and treats the fascial connective tissue system. Relieves restrictions throughout the body, promoting strength, flexibility, full range of motion, aligned posture, and fluid movement.

Orthopedic Massage

A clinical modality used to aid soft tissue recovery from injury caused by trauma or overuse. Breaks up adhesion and promotes healing using 'repositioning' techniques without the discomfort of other deep work or deep tissue modalities.

Pregnancy Massage

We offer our Massage therapies to women who are pregnant. Our therapists have specific training in this field and use special body pillows to provide maximum comfort.

Reflexology

An art and science based on the principle that there are reflex points in the hands and feet corresponding to each organ, gland, and structure of the body. Reduces tension, improves blood supply, eliminates toxins and stimulates healthy functioning of internal organs. Sometimes includes Massage of the arms, legs, and back.

Reiki

A type of energy work that is applied to the entire body utilizing universal energy to balance and align the body/mind/spirit dynamic. For stress reduction, spiritual clarity, relief of emotional, mental, and physical distress.

Seifukujitsu

The unique forearm pressure of Seifukujitsu is quick, dynamic and pulsating. It moves into muscles discovering the underlying resistence and structure, reaching into areas of stress and discomfort, teasing the muscles to relax, balancing the body structures and restoring the body's natural healing process.

Shiatsu Massage

Oriental Massage using hand and finger pressure along meridian [life energy] pathways. Also includes stretching and joint rotations. Effective for stress, locomotive and internal disorders. Stimulates blood circulation, calms the nervous system, and increases mental/physical energy.

Sports Massage

Designed to loosen and warm up your body prior to a sporting event, or to flush out toxins after a workout. Deep tissue strokes, muscle Massage, release points, and joint movements are designed to correct harmful movement patterns and prevent tissue damage during exercise.

Swedish Massage

A combination of manipulations of the soft tissues including long strokes, kneading, deep spiraling movements, and vibration to promote relaxation, improve circulation, relieve tension, and expand range of motion.

Trigger Point Therapy

Employs various methods to relieve and eliminate trigger points in the body. These small hypersensitive areas in the muscles bombard the nervous system with impulses that give rise to physical and emotional pain. A sense of well being ensues, as well as release of related emotional stress.

Swedish and Shiatsu Massage

East meets West with our combination Massage of a full-body Massage with Shiatsu points used within the session for a deeper sense of body and energy balance.

This treatment targets the three most stress-prone areas of the body— the back, the neck, and the feet. The Foot Reflexology is designed to promote grounding and balance, thus prolonging the tension-reducing effect of the Swedish Massage.
